As a celebration of women in the AV industry who exhibit “talent and tenacity,” CE Pro has debuted “40 Women to Watch.” This campaign emphasizes the powerhouse women of the consumer electronics industry and uses the latest issue of CE Pro’s magazine to briefly highlight each of the 40 women.

THE rAVe Agency’s Morgan Lawrence, director of communications, was one of the women chosen to receive this accolade.

“Ten years ago, I was just stepping into the industry with very little knowledge of the technology. I still remember googling what an HDBaseT Matrix Switcher was during my first week on the job. Although I started with limited understanding, I was determined to learn, and I worked hard to get there. Those early days were long, filled with studying and immersing myself in the industry. Along the way, I discovered a true passion for the technology and the people.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the trailblazers who came before me and all the people who believed in me and opened doors. I’m especially grateful to Gary Kayye for taking a chance on me five years ago to launch rAVe [STORYTELLING]. His leadership and the opportunity he provided have been pivotal in my journey. I’m also deeply thankful to our clients who trust us with their brands, allowing us to create something magical for them.

Thanks to CE Pro for taking significant steps to spotlight the many remarkable women in our industry. Lastly, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the inspiring and incredible women on this list. Here’s to those not yet mentioned who make a difference every day, and to the many more who will follow in their footsteps.” — Morgan Lawrence, director of communications at THE rAVe Agency

The selection process weighed heavily on nominations and also included some editorial input.

“Women have been so well representing every facet of this industry in growing numbers, the editors of CE Pro decided it was time to recognize their efforts. We’re looking forward to compiling this 40 Women to Watch list on an annual basis and highlighting their increasing impact on the custom integration industry.” — Arlen Schweiger, editor-in-chief at CE Pro
